Well, they only give accesses for about 1 million people to their beta version while the public version can be accessed easily on October 2011. I've got mine on the day #2.
Clues can be found one everyday at 9.00am until 1.00 pm BST. And everyday's clue is related to Harry Potter series novels. Day #1 clue's answer was from the 1st book of Harry Potter, the Philosopher Stone. And so on.
If you still confused on how to find the magical quill, you may go to Pottermore.com and find your name on the book !
Verification emails sometimes come late, so be patient and get ready for the next clue !
